First Winter Snow in November
Even though it is officially still autumn until December 21st our first snowfall happened during the night.
I was awakened by the village snow removal trucks banging around and bipping while backing up. That was before 5 a.m. No sleeping in for the wicked, I guess.
This new team must be enthusiastic to get started. Usually early snow removal only happens on school days.
This is a big wet one and could be melted away by tomorrow if we get warmer weather. Right now it is 29ºF
I wasn't ready to see this landscape soon. Alas, I accidentally left Persey, the young cat, outdoors all night. I assumed he was in his bed in the back room. I promised him I would start doing night head counts. After consuming two breakfasts and a treat, he is off to spend his day in a warm bed. I apologized.
