Had some company on my walk through the woods at Parke this morning.
The River Bovey was in full spate after days of torrential rain. 
Many of the trees are stubbornly holding on to most of their leaves and the colours are still wonderful.
I can never remember what previous seasons have been like ( of course I can now refer back to Blip) but it does seem like it's been a particularly good year for colour.

It stayed dry for the duration of the walk and we even sat outside at Home Farm Cafe to eat our brunch.
