Today Anuja celebrated her husband’s birthday with an artists market. Her husband passed away in February and her and her daughter showed incredible strength of spirit today. There was no sadness or tears just absolute passion for the makers and a joy for life. It was really inspirational to see.

This clay face was made by Anuja’s father who in his ill health would make these little clay faces and after he passed away Anuja fired them and gave one each to her sisters. I love the character.
