A walk by the river

It’s been another dreich day and very dark.

I was at home this morning and managed to complete the online application for Mum’s blue badge. It required me to scan many documents to prove who she is, where she lives, what medication she takes, what her diagnoses are and what her consultants think of her! It was a mammoth task. I just hope they accept the evidence.

This afternoon I went for a walk by the river at Wark. It as very grey. The leaves underfoot were very squelchy. The oak seems to be the last to shed.

Most of the hawthorn berries have gone, with a few berries hanging on.

Out at Brian and Maureen’s for a meal tonight with Julie, Al and Ann. Having a sleepover at Maureen’s.
