CORRIDOR - EB

Hi all, this is a bit of an emergency blip.  Went to a 70th birthday party for N, one of Hubby's Thursday night cronies.  This was held at The Grange Hotel.  A bit squished to begin with as there was a large Christmas party being held at the same time.  However food and service was good.  It was a large gathering, about 70 people, at least 50 of which were family members.  Pleasant do, a lot of speeches, but funny entertaining ones.

It reminded me very much of our old family parties, which sadly are no more because there is hardly anyone left.  Dad was the 2nd eldest of 11, who all had children who had children etc - so when we all got together for their silver and gold wedding anniversaries for instance, it was always a huge gathering.  As  lovely as these were and are, for me I prefer small intimate dos, I'm just not a big party person.

I had to take the photo on my camera phone, so it's not great quality.  It is a samsung, but a mini so could be better.  

This is one of the main corridors in the hotel.  I couldn't get anything else as there were far too many people and children about and without asking permission it didn't seem appropriate to take photos of them.

Now to get ready for Strictly and see who is knocked out this week. Enjoying this series, they are all really good now so hard to call.
