Happy bluebirds

This bluebird pair is not currently nesting in our backyard, but they must be nesting nearby. I often see them in our backyard buffet grabbing a  tidbit to eat or a sip of water from the bird bath. My neighbor told me the other day that he also hears them in his backyard. Maybe the presence of the overly-aggressive house sparrows keeps them from settling into our nesting boxes.
