Today was the first meeting of the 2013 season for Point to Point Racing in the Yorkshire Area - and the weather was superb.

An early sprinkling of snow was replaced by full winter sunshine until early afternoon, so it was far from cold. The course, at Sheriff Hutton near York, is always the first to start the season which runs until April.

This meeting was held to raise funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Seven races were held and a good crowd enjoyed a wonderful day.
