Come on you Kestrels

A really good friend made us a kestrel nesting box for Christmas. The hand-made gifts are always a pleasure to have.

Had a slightly hair-raising job yesterday to secure it 10 feet up a tree. It looks perfect, with a nice bed of shredded cuttings in the bottom. We just need a friendly kestrel to pop by in the spring, and I'll have some good blipping opportunities!
