The Army and Navy Roundabout...

...named after the pub/music venue which was cruelly demolished to enable the city council’s unending quest provide the citizens of Chelmsford with yet more fast food and retail outlets! Many Chelmsford residents go out of there way to travel huge distances to avoid this roundabout. Those who take it on are advised to have significant in car entertainment to survive the hours queuing on either of its five approach roads. The flyover was built to relieve the traffic as was the A12 bypass which skirts around Chelmsford. Neither of these schemes were particularly effective. Now the flyover is due to be demolished. Look out for a future Blip with that bit missing!
