Octopus Stinkhorn
While its been a good autumn for fungi I've found very few specimens of the amazing Octopus Stinkhorn (or Devil's Fingers). Although spectacular to see they are also very flimsy and most of the ones I've seen this year have, like this one, been far from perfect . The 'tentacles' are hollow and very easily damaged by light wind and rain.
