No sand today

There was a rather high tide at Westward Ho! this afternoon when I thought a stroll might be on the cards, hiding the sand.  The pebble ridge is not really good for walking on so I abandoned that idea!  However, it was lovely standing and listening to the sounds of the sea as the pebbles were pushed and pulled up and down the beach. The sea has a beauty of its own.
