Monochrome Play Structure

This wooden play structure is one of the items of equipment in the play park at the. centre of John Muir Woods. Whilst it looks quite attractive I have never quite worked out how children are expected to use these wooden poles. Not many children would be able to shin up them and swing from one pole to another and even if they were able to do so  it would seem to be quite a risky activity.
