Today’s view

The penultimate day of the holiday and an early start for me. Up at 7, mini breakfast and on the road before 8. From sea level to 980m and back down again in around 48km. The climb, surprisingly pleasant, a mix of 5-7% through La Laguna and then into the countryside. The descent, pure indulgence. The road builder was clearly a cyclist, flowing bend after bend. Not quick, just exhilarating. And back to the hotel for a “Hobbit second breakfast” at 10.30!

Back up the hill with KT, this time on a tram, for a wander around La Laguna’s back streets and a late lunch. Can’t be bad!
