Forbidding

The wood on the end of the marsh is dense, although I could walk into it in the depths of last winter, now it seems impenetrable. I have photographed these white trees before (I'm not sure what they are) and it's one of my favourite shots. So I thought to have another go and look for a different composition.

I think it's the contrast I find appealing, of the light grasses against the dark woodland and the white trees with their black lower trunks.
