Fontaines DC

On sat a friend reacted to say she had a spare ticket to see fontaines DC at O2 institute in Birmingham as her friend was poorly. I'd only heard a handful of tracks on the radio, but I'm not going to turn down the chance of seeing some live music.

Today this band won album of the year award from BBC 6 music.

They were on fire, so much energy and really intense. Their set lasted an hour dead and there was no encore. I really really enjoyed it.

There was a good pit as well, I didn't partake but realised it's been a long time since I was last at a gig with a pit.
