Naked Mole Rat

But the cutest one ever! :—) She is making herself at home. The first night, I was sound asleep on my side when I was rudely awakened by a wiggly hairless thing burrowing under my covers! She made herself quite comfortable in the bend of my legs ( one guess where her nose landed :—) Suffice it to say It was a bonding experience. :—) Last night she didn’t get quite as personal and made herself at home nestled against my back. She negates the need for a heating pad! During the night, she visits Hubs so he doesn’t feel left out.
Seriously, it’s a little strange how the other animals have accepted her. Well, the jury is still out with Punkin the cat.
Also today, we made progress with potty training and I actually think she has a little more hair! A rescuer who specializes in dachshunds came to see her last night and said she may be a rare blue Merle color when her hair comes in.
Never a dull moment.
