First Snow

Went for a walk up to Martindale today then retreated to Helton, on the way the view on the fell side looking towards Penrith way was very atmospheric. First snow of the new year here in Cumbria, hopefully it lays, we've had a muggy winter so far. This gate is on the Celleron road out the back of Pooley Bridge, it's got a great view of Penrith and the trees with the rolling fields always make for a well spaced photo.
