Still thinking about flowering!

I have also backblipped yesterday's A large raindrop ...... hope you will have a look ..... thanks to those who already have :-)


After a grey dreary morning the sun showed its face for a brief while early afternoon ..... at last! Seems a long time since we last saw it!

So discarding the dull photo I had already taken ...... I nipped into the garden to find something for today's blip.

As you can see ...... the Globe Thistle (Echinops) ..... that surprised us by producing new flowers ...... still has its flowers-to-be .... though they don't seem to have progressed any further towards actually opening!

If you look carefully you can see a small patch of blue sky there too!
