Beauty is in the eye of the beholder - get it out with Optrex.
Spike Milligan

Smokey has been in my bad books today as he has taken to clambering up onto a shelf where he knows he is forbidden, sending items crashing to the ground, despite my attempts to make the ascent impossible. This was taken just after I'd had to grab him and eject him from his new citadel.

After deciding this image would look good in black and white, I looked to see what MerrilHope's theme was for the day's Mono Monday and found it was 'Beauty'. Enough said. With thanks to her for hosting.

Technicolor version here.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Sugar Pie DeSanto - Git Back (1974)
Whenever a radio presenter mentions at the top of a programme that they are going to play Sugar Pie Desanto, it's a given that they are going to play Soulful Dress, or just possibly one of her duets with her cousin Etta James. Cerys Matthews, however, dug out a storming soul single from around a decade later that once again I had never heard before.
