Sunday Mornings..

On Sunday mornings as part of my job at SCBC I run a boys Sunday School group called Fusion! It's for 11-14yr olds..

I never really liked the name 'Sunday School' much and I guess that's 'cause I didn't really like school.. So I normally stick to calling it Fusion unless I'm trying to explain what it is!

This morning we only had 5 boys rock up, which is highly abnormal, but we carried on with what we had planned regardless! And in our 3yr journey through the bible, today we had arrived at Genesis 23! Issac and Rebekah..

I had the boys use bin bags, tape, foil and loo roll to do there best at planning and performing a marriage ceremony!

They were great, they knew all the basics to a good Christian wedding ceremony and we all had a good laugh!! I have to say it actually gave me a great deal of inspiration for mine and debs big day in April!

It was Daniel and Stephen getting fake married this morning (two guys in the middle of the pic) and their first worship song of the ceremony was 'Our God is a Great Big God' which I found very entertaining! And even more entertaining was their first worship song as a married couple which was 'cast your burdens' all chosen by our brilliant vicar Harry (far right)

So all in all a thoroughly entertaining morning, as I feel this pic shows..
