Balgove Larder, St Andrews

Last Sunday it was Broughty Ferry Beach, this Sunday it was East Sands at St Andrews where I met this lady and her very well behaved dog (as opposed to Breagha).

The weather was pretty overcast and rainy on the beach but we walked from one end to the other. Breagha rolled in every fishy thing she could find (well loads on a beach!) and on the return got into quite a snarly, nipping scrap with a collie and I am proud to say for a wee thing like Breagha, she held her own and gave as good as she got till they were separated!!

Later, we had a good old blether in the Balgove Larder over coffee and one of the tastiest scones I have had in ages. This is a place to return to - and as you can see loads of fresh fruit and veg, butchery, bread etc etc.

It was great meeting you Lynn - it felt like I already knew you!
