Visitation

A strange old day and one in which I often felt strangely dissatisfied; why didn’t my daughter get back in touch, why were people being so petty and hysterical about a minor planning application, and while I was about it, why is drugs policy just political ping pong instead of getting a grip. I could go on. The SK diagnosed pre-menstrual tension. Which made me shout at her that there.is.no.such.thing. Not for blokes anyway, whatever gender they self-describe as. Controversial.
Anyway, the clouds eventually dispersed. The cycling family called in for a blether about, we went to see the daughter and deliver the boozefree advent calendar, and finally we visited the neighbour L for a beer and blether. And she was in good spirits after a trying few months. And gave us the good news that Lidl’s mini-stollen bites are in stock. Roll on Monday!
