Arriving Blest

Waking to the rhythm of the tracks around 6:30am this morning, we found ourselves an hour ahead of schedule. If that wasn’t cool enough, as we pulled into the Lorton, VA station our car was one of the first ones unloaded. We then proceeded to roll through Washington, DC’s rush-hour traffic without much of an effort. Maryland and Delaware were also amazingly kind to us with little traffic to speak of. Pennsylvania delivered a bit of volume, but nothing unusual. Now we’ve made this trek quite a few times over the past few years, but today was different, today was truly blest.
