Mushroom Season

Or:  the fungus among us.
I’ve never seen so many mushrooms on this property……I do wish I was smarter at knowing what was safe to eat.   I know there are some chanterelles,  just not 100% sure which.  I always look for this oddball , Black Helvella… usually it’s hard to find, but this year I saw many.    My book says it’s “edible, but not recommended” as it could resemble one that is poison.  Think I’ll just admire it.   A few more in extra.
