Delivering An Art Work to Edinburgh

Signing off  is the link to the now framed artwork which will form part of the forthcoming member’s exhibition at the Scottish Arts Club.

Travelling by train through Fife is a very scenic journey passing through varied countryside and also along the coast before crossing the Forth Estuary.

Today’s Blipfoto is the Grade A listed Cupar Railway Station and the extra is the Howe of Fife with the "Paps o’ Fife on the horizon.

The light trail in the grey sky is the reflection of the carriage light.

The painting is delivered unscathed. Lunch and conversation at the Club followed by a view of the current exhibition of portraiture. Some excellent work on display.

Thereafter, a visit to the cinema to view Le Mans 1966. Full of 1960’s California nostalgia for Pat and some interesting action shots.

Ford management is not shown in a favourable light, although the scene with Henry Ford II being driven flat out in a GT40 is very funny.

The fact that the GT40 was based on an existing car designed by the British Lola company is dismissed in one sentence: "The car has been delivered from England"

Train journey back home in a dark Autumn night.
