Dear deer,

My blip came to me today.  This young roe deer and its mother came to the edge of the woodland in front of our house and I was able to take this picture from a bedroom window.  We do have deer fencing around the back garden but at the front there is no barrier.  In the past we are told that they have eaten the plants in the front garden but our predecessors replanted with shrubs that they do not eat - or at least that's the theory.
