A House by a Lake

This house is next to the railway station in Metheringham. They've been in the process of building it for a few years now - it's not being chucked up in five minutes how many modern properties are. And it's a big, impressive looking place too. 

So why the Hell have they chosen to put it on this piece of ground which floods without fail every time there is a day or more of rain! It's still not fully finished - as you can see, there are building materials and equipment submerged in the lake. 

I took this on the way to my Folks this morning. My Dad does seem a little better thank Goodness. He is keeping his appointment at the GP's tomorrow though.

Work was very busy last night. nothing like a regular Tuesday! Nearly time to go there and see what tonight has in store!
