Lantern Parade

This town has a Lantern Parade that culminates with Fr Christmas switching on the lights.

Groups and schools are all making Lanterns for the event. Somerset Willow is used for the frames and I made 2 with club members today. 

One member was very unsettled this morning but she fully engaged with the activity. 

I have about 8 Lantern frames in total. Tomorrow they will be covered with tissue paper and each be given a battery candle. We won't be joining the parade but our Lanterns will be used.
