Drips and Drops
Left to my own devices today as TM went up to the city. The murk hasn't lifted, and everything is dripping. I didn't get further than the front garden, where the birch trees are almost bare, apart from one which still has a lot of leaves hanging on. They look quite festive, in a subdued way, I think.
I've been doing some hand-sewing, still appliqué-ing, and when this block is finished, there's another one to do. I'm beginning to like it a little bit more. As light relief from that I hunted out a tin of furniture wax and started polishing various items in the sitting room. It smells nice in here. Perhaps I should do it more often, like every five years or so, maybe.
