The House - Day 7

The flooring is looking good. And warmer underfoot - insulated underlay and heavier duty engineered wood. Hopefully will make the house cosier  and more energy efficient as well as looking better. But still a long way to go. 

Busy busy busy at the moment. Overrunning seminar this afternoon, went well but tiring on top of a morning of deflecting crises.

Sad to hear of the death of Clive James and Jonathan Miller. Couple of great polymaths, particularly Doc Miller, the man whose curiosity was a constant distraction. I am just old enough to remember him cropping up on tv in the sixties in the company of other black and white satirists of the New Elizabethan era.
