Isbi's Arch

Was walking past Isbi's yesterday and snapped her gorgeous roses, which regularly spill over the arch.
They looked particularly fab against that blue, blue sky.

I have quite a bit in common with Clive James, who died on the 24th.
I grew up two suburbs away, and though he was eight years older, we shared some important formative experiences.
Chief among them were Pemberton's Baths at Ramsgate, and Ramsgate Odeon.
Sadly, there the similarities end.
