A different view of a dreich day

This is the third dreich day in a row in Edinburgh , and very dreich it is with the low cloud down almost to ground level .

This slightly unusual framing of the greyness was taken from the corridor outside Committee Room 6 in the Parliament  just before I took part in a four hour Stage 2 session on the Referendums Bill.   

By dint of excellent chairing from the Convener Bruce Crawford we got within five (out of 24) groupings of finishing, which we will do next Wednesday.

But that having been done, I was straight into preparing for the Stage 1 debate on the Franchise Bill which takes place tomorrow in the chamber.
