It's Beginning To Look .....

The U3A walk today was cancelled due to the recent bad weather making the planned route too wet and muddy. So we popped into Cheltenham as mrsfb felt she was in need of a bit of retail therapy.

She bought a small notebook (she buys a new one every year to record what we buy/do/eat over Christmas). I bought a pair of shoes and changed two of the pairs of trousers I bought earlier this week for the next size up. I was a bit ambitious regarding my waist reduction following our diet. I did get two more holes punched in my belt though to accommodate the (not so) huge reduction!

When I was trying on the new shoes I wanted mrsfb to give me her opinion before I made the purchase. As it happens she was waiting for me outside a shop exactly opposite the shoe shop. I stood in the doorway and jumped up and down and waved, but to no avail as she looked up and down the road for me. Then I phoned her, but she didn't manage to answer before it went to voice mail. Eager to get a sale the shoe shop assistant left the shop and crossed the road to fetch her. Exceptional customer service!

It is beginning  to look a lot like Christmas everywhere. The blip is of part of the festive market. As blip is a family-friendly service I waited for this couple to move into place and strategically cover up the rude bit on the Hare and Minotaur statue.
