The big 11 tomorrow. After a life on the edge entry into the world, he has, from day 1, been a blessing. Sad news elsewhere this weekend for a branch of the family where a young life has been cut tragically short. I hope they can help each other through the coming days and weeks. Meanwhile Dave was away all week in Glasgow helping his Dad through major surgery to survive cancer. Life is so very blimmin' unpredictable, so much so, its sometimes too easy to forget to put energy into making the best of happy times, so despite the nuisance of work and school, I'm going to make Sam have a pretty cool, laid back birthday tomorrow.
