Yew arch

My new garden feature! We planted two yew trees some 25 years ago and they have been quietly growing away.
I squeezed down to my Wellingtonia back in the summer and realised that it too had come on rather well since I first germinated the seed. Looking around it seemed a shame that visitors could not easily visit it for a hug and I thought that an arch between the yews and a little path would be a lovely way to get there.
So today we had a go, and it was less of a battle than I expected. When the yews grow a bit around the trunks I think it will be perfect!
So next time you visit, be ready for a hug!
