The family

The swan family were late for breakfast this morning, which meant that the ducks got most of the food!
Spent the rest of the day doing chores, one of which was to remove the oven door to clean the glass thoroughly, all went well until I tried to put it back and discovered that something was amiss with one side of the mechanism, contacted a friend who has the same type of oven and after checking theirs he very kindly came round to see what he could do but it wasn’t fixable, so the engineer has been called out!
Then I went to do the ironing and the blooming iron stopped working! Fortunately we have a spare one so the ironing got done!
