Autumn already?

Very cold and wet today. I had lunchtime duty for 50 mintutes and had 1400g of down about my person. I was toasty warm while all around were shivering and lamenting the fact that they were insufficiently insulated.

A two steps forward, one step back kind of a day today.

Just gotta keep on smiling, eh?

Listening to the sound of the rain on the roof is somehow comforting.

A friend told me today that there is a plan and once each piece of the jigsaw falls into place, more of the picture will be revealed.
