Something special

My mum loved Christmas and made it so special when I was a child. She had a gathering of all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren every December and we exchanged presents. She was very organised with money, although having very little. Once her final bills had been paid we just split what little was left between the four children. I thought a special tree decoration would be something nice to buy with the money, the rest I gave to homeless, which she would have liked. Yesterday while in the city this was just waiting for me in John Lewis, last one.
