Shed archaeology - linen chest
When we moved into our house in 1992 this huge linen chest was in the main bedroom. The drawers are so deep that the only sensible thing to keep in them is duvets and no-one needs three huge drawers of spare duvets. I decided to move it into the shed 'temporarily' then discovered that it was so badly made that the nails holding the carcass together fell out. There was a bonus: it became much easier to move as the three (well-made) drawers are just about liftable by one person.
And in the shed, in bits, it has sat, until now.
I assembled a 3D montage to give an idea of how it might look and put it onto Freegle. As of 29 November, the person desperate to have it has collected all three drawers and left me with the pieces of carcass.
What would anyone want just three drawers for?
