Cockmylane (Road to Swanston and the Pentlands)

After yesterday's epic ride, I feel justified in taking a day off the bike. But I Instead I go for a couple of wee walks. In the morning I head down along Cockmylane, also called 'Road to Swanston and the Pentlands. Robert Louis Stevenson's route from Colinton to Swanston. I'm heading north here, downhill, with a better view of the trees. The weather is a bit dull and chilly. I walk around Braidburn Valley Park and home again.

In the afternoon, I walk down through Morningside and Bruntsfield to Tollcross. I visit a couple of bike shops, and window shop some others before havong afternoon coffee. A nice relaxing day off work.
