Chapter Two

By lauriemfisher

One year and counting

It's been a year since I started knitting The Great American Aran Afghan. Twenty squares of different patterns created for a Knitter's Magazine contest. The squares are all challenging, some more than others. I stalled at 16 and promised myself I would finish the last four while in Maine this winter. I've knitted a lot since I've been here, but haven't tackled the afghan until this afternoon. Truthfully, I've already done the squares I like the best, so I've given myself permission to repeat a few? Yay for that decision.
