Helpers...

I washed all the dishes and put away the leftovers last night before I went to bed, & I was exhausted. I fell asleep really deeply for about 2 hours, then woke up & couldn't get back to sleep. Last time I looked at the clock it was almost 4 a.m., but then next thing I knew it was just shy of 10:00 a.m. Can't remember the last time I slept that late! Today I put away all the tables and chairs after washing them all up, and I was happy to see the tinies had come to help as well. Here they are cleaning three of my poison bottles. I love old bottles, and the poison bottles are my favorites because of their construction. The cobalt blue bottle has a raised pattern all over it, except for where the label would have gone; the green has a raised pattern of lines and the the brown is a triangular shape with raised knobs down each of the "seams". All old poison bottles had some type of identifying patterns on them, so that if you reached for a bottle during the night you could tell by feel which one was unsafe. That way you wouldn't inadvertently give it to someone, thinking it was a different medication. (Unless of course you actually wanted to poison someone!)
