the holi gang

Holi - festival of colours in India. People celebrate this festival by colouring each other with dry colours, wet colours, paints and what not. This is a really really popular festival in north India where everybody is on the roads today. The entire city is painted red, green, blue, yellow. People get naughty and flirt/mess with each other openly - all in good humour. This is also one of the festivals where everybody forget their communal/social/gender/age differences and come together to celebrate.

So decided to skip work in the morning hour and go shooting in the old city today. Got some good shots. will posting the rest in my other blog or picasa later and share the link.
