Lantern Parade

We've had a lovely day!

I had a baking session this morning (for Nigel's birthday tea here on Sunday) and in the evening we went to the Lantern Parade.

Some Lanterns were astonishing and made the club efforts look shabby. The crowds were out in force. The weather cold and dry. Fireworks, mulled wine and Fr Christmas. 

We met Phandy and Rosemary and went carol singing led by a friend who is also a (trendy) vicar.

Then on to The White Bear where we happened upon my eldest brother, Dave.

Walked home in a frost.
