Frosted sundial
The low sun reveals interesting detail on the face of the sundial that I'd not noticed before. The gnomon is the triangular blade and the style is its inclined edge whose shadow shows the time. This must be parallel to the axis of the Earth's rotation for the sundial to be accurate throughout the year. As this is a mass-produced item I suspect it does not have a correctly aligned gnomon, shadow length, and hour-lines!
