In the town where I was born..

Yes, I did go to London today.  Yesterday's horrible events notwithstanding, this really was my last chance before Christmas because South Western Railways are on strike for the whole of December.  It wasn't quite the long happy day I'd planned, but I did manage to walk up to Covent Garden, do some shopping and, of course, plenty of blipping.  Lots of faces, but this living statue, with his wonderful blend of complexity and innocence, was the one I liked best.

I'm tagging this for SillySaturday, but not sure whether to say 'for the wonderful make-up' or because people will think I'm daft going after yesterday's attack.
