Hard of hearing

There is no one else in the room and I start talking and he continues reading and then say ‘oh were you talking to me’. I wish I had the ability to concentrate on just one thing and exclude everything else but my mind seems to jump around.
Planned to go out in the car today but the fog was so bad we decided to walk into the city for lunch. That was after a quick trip to the pet-shop for a replacement bed as the pup has managed to put holes in the current one and the stuffing was coming out.
