Special Olympics Ireland is a sports organisation for people with an intellectual disability, but provide athletes with far more than the physical benefits of sport. Special Olympics changes lives.

Special Olympics Ireland enables athletes to achieve and win not only in sport but in life too.  Currently nearly 8,000 athletes take part in year round training in a network of 313 community based clubs and services throughout the island of Ireland.
