Here’s looking at you .......

After breakfast, a walk through Highcliffe Castle grounds to the sea shore, and on to Mudeford Quay. Then returning via “Seatop” and Highcliffe High Street to our hotel for a home made picnic.

At the Quay the winter visiting starlings were in their usual positions on and inside the stacked up lobster pots. And as usual, practicing their sub-songs.

A grey morning, with a stiff easterly breeze, Which meant a choppy sea. An extra - a cormorant stop one of the beacon markers that signify the location of groynes when the tide is in.
