A Very Wet Day

A downright soaker of a day here in Calistoga. We went for a lovely drive this morning - explored some places we’d never been like Pope Valley. It was a pretty morning for a drive with the rain changing the colors of the landscape. There have been some horrible wildfires in this area over the past few years and there are wide areas of land where the trees have completely burned leaving only the shape of the landscape.

Today’s blip is a very wet bougainvillea which are growing in huge pots around the pool - which is of course way to cold to be in this time of year!
